Skip Loader Truck
Sealed Transport, Zero Pollution: The use of sealed containers effectively prevents waste scattering, odors, and leachate leakage during transit. It's an ideal piece of equipment for building "Zero-Waste Cities."
Stable & Safe Operation: Standard hydraulic support legs (outriggers) must be deployed during heavy lifting to effectively prevent vehicle tipping. A carefully designed control system requires disengaging the clutch before engaging the PTO, protecting the transmission and other core components.
Reliable Structure, Strong Durability: The lifting arms and skips are manufactured using high-strength steel. The entire vehicle undergoes anti-corrosion treatment like electrophoretic painting (e-coating), offering excellent resistance to fatigue and corrosion, ensuring long-term stable operation even in harsh environments with waste leachate.
A Skip Loader Truck, also known as a Hydraulic Lift Arm Garbage Truck, is a specialized sanitation vehicle designed to load, transport, and unload garbage containers using a hydraulically powered lifting arm mechanism.
Its core value lies in the "detachable container, one truck with multiple skips" operational model. Acting as a versatile "multi-tasker," a single truck can service multiple dispersed waste collection points in rotation, significantly improving vehicle utilization rates and reducing both procurement and operational costs.
Product Details & Technical Specifications
1、Main Structural Components
Chassis System: Built on reputable second-class commercial vehicle chassis from manufacturers like Dongfeng or Jiefang, equipped with high-power engines (e.g., Yuchai, Cummins) for strong and reliable performance.
Hydraulic System: Comprising a Power Take-Off (PTO), hydraulic pump, multi-way control valve, and cylinders – this acts as the "muscles" of the vehicle, powering all operations.
Lifting Arm Mechanism: High-strength steel arms located at the rear, hydraulically driven to rotate up to 145° to lift, lower, and tilt containers.
Garbage Containers (Skips): Multiple detachable, sealed containers available in various shapes (e.g., boat-shaped, square). They can be fitted with sealed covers to prevent secondary pollution.
2、Operational Modes
Ground-Level Operation: The skip is placed directly on the ground. Requires no civil works, low cost, high flexibility – ideal for temporary or scattered collection points.
Pit-Level Operation (Underground): The skip is recessed into an underground pit, with only the loading opening level with the ground. Aesthetically pleasing, easier for public disposal – suitable for small fixed transfer stations.
3、Working Process
Loading/Unloading Skips: Upon arrival, the hydraulic system is controlled to lower the arms, engage the skip via chains, and securely hoist it onto the chassis or lower it to the ground.
Self-Unloading Waste: At the disposal site, the hydraulic system tilts the skip to a maximum angle of 86°, emptying the waste cleanly and quickly. A single work cycle typically takes less than 60 seconds.
Core Advantages & Features
1、Ultimate Efficiency, Cost Reduction
One Truck, Multiple Skips: A single truck can be equipped with multiple containers, operating in rotation. This doubles vehicle utilization, significantly reducing the number of trucks needed and associated labor costs.
Fast Operation: Fully hydraulic, single-person operation from within the cab. Loading or unloading a skip takes under 60 seconds for maximum efficiency.
2、High Adaptability, Wide Applications
Above & Below Ground Operation: Compatible with both ground-level and pit-level (underground) skips (using extended chains), seamlessly integrating into different regional sanitation infrastructures.
Multi-Purpose Use: Beyond municipal solid waste, it is widely used for industrial waste in factories, green waste (branches, grass) by landscaping departments, and transporting bulk materials like sand and gravel on construction sites.
