Product Details

A Hydraulic Lift Arm Garbage Truck (also known as a Hook Loader Garbage Truck or Skip Loader) is a specialized sanitation vehicle designed to load, transport, and unload garbage containers using a hydraulically powered lifting arm system. Its defining characteristic is the detachability of the container from the truck chassis, enabling a highly efficient "one truck, multiple containers" operational model. This makes it an ideal solution for urban and rural sanitation management, especially where there are numerous waste transfer points.

Core Structure and Working Principle

The efficiency of this equipment stems from the seamless integration of its key mechanical and hydraulic systems:

Chassis: Typically built upon a standard commercial vehicle chassis from reputable manufacturers like Dongfeng or Jiefang, equipped with powerful diesel engines (such as Yuchai or Cummins) to provide reliable driving power.

Hydraulic System: This is the "muscle" of the truck. It consists of a power take-off (PTO), hydraulic pump, multi-way control valve, and hydraulic cylinders. It draws power from the engine to drive all loading and unloading operations.

Lifting Arm Mechanism: Located at the rear of the vehicle, these two high-strength steel arms are the core components for handling containers. Driven by hydraulic cylinders, the arms can rotate up to 145° to lift, lower, and tilt the container.

Garbage Container: Multiple sealed, interchangeable containers (often boat-shaped or square) can be placed at different collection points. The containers can be fitted with sealed covers to prevent odor leakage and wastewater spillage during transport, ensuring environmental hygiene.

The operational process is simple and efficient:

Loading/Unloading Containers: Upon arrival at a collection point, the operator controls the hydraulic system. The lifting arms swing down, engage the container using chains or hooks, and then securely hoist it onto the chassis or gently lower it to the ground.

Self-Unloading Garbage: At the disposal site, the hydraulic system is manipulated to tilt the container to a significant angle (up to 86°), allowing all waste to be discharged cleanly and quickly in one go, much like a standard tipper truck.
